Parent Toolkit is the product of a partnership between the NBC News Education Nation initiative and Pearson. The site is a resource for parents, teachers, and caretakers, and serves up a rich array of information on child development (physical, emotional, social) and academic benchmarks from ages Pre-K through post-high school.

 

The site design required thoughtful consideration for the most user-friendly way to serve up this vast amount of information in both Spanish and English; the result is an easy-to-use and intuitive site that remembers a user's path and serves up customized suggestions in an unobtrusive way. Design output also included a user's guide and other promotional collateral.
